Dear Editor: My name is Meg Wall and I am writing on behalf of my husband Frank Wall and me. We wish to extend our deepest thanks and sincere appreciation to all who participated in helping us find our missing therapeutic riding horse, Trucker. He came up missing on December 9, 2008 and was found on December 12, 2008. We want to say a thank you to the McClain County Sheriffs Office for sending an officer out to the ranch right away and for their responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to help us. We especially want to acknowledge the efforts of our dear friend Nova Boyd who called our local veterinarians and farriers, and notified the members of the Purcell Saddle Club meeting to be on the lookout. I know that there were many people that we don’t know personally that were spreading the word about Trucker being taken and to them we say many thanks. To the State of Oklahoma Special Agent Norma Ast and to McClain County Detective David Tompkins we appreciate you and your diligence to investigate and follow up with us. To all those folks who heard about our plight and passed the word to everyone they knew in the community to be looking for Trucker, we can’t thank you enough. It’s times like this that draws people to together and you find out just how blessed you are to have so many friends and acquaintances that are willing to help you in a time of need. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all who helped. Thanks to the effort of all of you, we have him back!
