Through the years, my students have achieved high levels of success in their riding and training skills. Some have gone on to become trainers themselves. Many of the riders and horses under my instruction have achieved recognition and championships in the Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Western Pleasure, Trail Horse, Equitation, Western Riding, Reining and Stock Horse, 4-H Divisional and Regional shows.

Recently, one of our young riders from Alaska, Jessica Leary qualified to compete in the America West Finals in Reno for 2006. In preparation for this competition she traveled to Hanford, CA for an America West race and she won first in the 2D Youth, and placed 6th in the Open out of 32 horses.
 

She has also won:

• 2005 NBHA Champion in 2D and 3D Barrel Racing Open and Youth

• 2005 NBHA Champion in Pole Bending, Open and Youth

• 2005 ABRA 3D Champion Barrel Racer

• 2006 NBHA tied for 2D Open Champion and was 3D Open and Youth Champion

• 2006 NBHA Open and Youth Pole Bending Champion
